This is so amazing! You brought back memories of the show! I really like the way you did the background. The colors go ver well with her.. snakiness. If you would have put in a setting people either would not of had to think about where it came from or they would have thought it was something you came up with. Where she loops.. well.. sits? looks kind of awkward. Like the other sided of her body could be sitting on her tail or behind her tail. Her fingers look really nice. Most people draw really derp worthy fingers. I love you art!
I remember the first time I saw this as a kid. I think it was... 12 years ago?
Anyway!
I really like the way this picture came out. The drawing technique used is great as is the accuracy in it. From the color used to the way she is drawn, I have difficulty finding mistakes. It seems like it was drawn and colored by a professional Disney Animator. The expression on her face is also good, it sort of looks like she is trying to accept what is happening to her, but is unsure.
The only complaint I have is in the way some of the shadows and lighting is done. The shadows were placed well, but I think there could have been a little more work done with the lighting. Maybe have some light reflect off her scales as it did with her hair.
One more thing I really like about the picture is the background. It goes well with the dark magic that was place on Jasmine to turn her into this snake monster.
Overall, this is a great image and I like the way it turned out. Keep up the good work!
I don't know about you, but i reckon Jasmine should've taken at least a little bit of pride being a snake as there is a great shortage of them on the good side
EEK! I loved that episode! (If I remember correctly this version of Jasmine was from an episode of the Aladdin TV series when she was afraid that she was "Ugly" and put on some kind of lotion that ended up turning her into a snake) Great job
