Ariel's figure is well drawn. I admire the colours of the background. They seem to blend together and reflect her natural habitat.
The shading and lighting is vibrant, as it makes the digital picture look like a watercolour piece.
However, one thing I must say is that I think that Ariel's arm looks bulgy. I'm talking about the one she's leaning on the sand. Maybe it's because you tried to draw it to give us the idea of seeing things clearer when they're closer to us, but it's just a minor annoyance of mine.
umm awesome!!! I absolutely love this, i kinda wish it was a mural on my wall right now, i love how ariel is your main focus when looking at this piece. I enjoy when the background fades on a piece of work creating the even more surreal and sea - like vision of this work. I have no idea how else I am supposed to rate this but her arm laying across the rock seems a little bit odd but other then that all i have is good things said about. Like i always say, you can not go wrong with red heads.
